About the project
The project is intended to be a tool that raises awareness of the positive things that happen to us in life.
In the box there are thirty sealed envelopes, one per day, for a month, each with an instruction that focuses on one thing. The instruction is written in general terms and makes it possible to recall things that are translated by us as obvious, and to make them special.
The project does not pretend to strive happiness for its user. It helps to identify positive things that already exist in our lives, and perhaps we haven't given them the attention they deserve. The identification alone can bring a sense of meaning and gratitude.
After writing in the envelope it can be stored back in the box, on the upper level. The instructions mainly focus on communication with others around us, so after writing in the envelope you can give it to others. Involving more people in the process strengthens the awareness motif, and may also cause them a sense of value and meaning.
Key values in the project
𖤓 Self-reflection & documenting the materials.
𖤓 Performing a physical and interactive action.
𖤓 Ritual action that repeats itself with consistent frequency.
𖤓 An element of surprise, which will give anticipation for what is to come.
𖤓 The questions in the envelopes focus, among other things, on communication with others. Therefore, after writing, the envelope can be given to the person it is written about.
𖤓 Compassion: not every day has to be good, not every day has to be fulfilling.
