
The final project in "Storytelling in Space" course, that seeks to examine the basic concepts and practical skills of the design operation in space, as a curatorial process.

𖤓 The vision
The exhibition examines Israeli society's relationship with the word "authentic", through the craft of embroidery. The embroidery was considered a souvenir and represented the cultural heritage of the region. Today, embroidered souvenirs are produced with the aim of being souvenirs for the masses. They aim to imitate the authentic charge of original items, but they are artificial.

The exhibition is focus on the craft of embroidery from a perspective of past versus present. In the past, a traditional and slow authentic craft made by a person, and now an artificial craft in industrial production.


𖤓 The exhibits
The exhibits focus on the questions: Is an embroidery patch of Israel considered an authentic souvenir, if it's made in China? can velvet slippers be worn by a bedouin woman in the desert? Is the product considered "authentic" because it's made locally or by hand?
